In collaboration with the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CDIA is proud to announce that the Effective Urban Infrastructure Programming (EUIP) – Seminar/Workshop on Good Practices to be held in Singapore from 17-21 April 2017 is now open for applications from cities in the Asian Region. Interested parties may submit their application until 22 February 2017.
The event aims to improve the knowledge of senior professional staff, and senior local government policymakers in urban and infrastructure planning. Specifically, it will cover the following topics: prioritizing infrastructure investments; enhancing sustainable project formulation; financing infrastructure investments, including PPP models application; and pre-feasibility studies and project preparation studies for urban infrastructure.
Participating cities must be keen to learn from best practice cases concerning infrastructure investments such as in water supply, sustainable transport, and waste management, with the intention of developing their own respective projects. The program will also entail infrastructure site visits in Singapore, presentations of good practice cases from other Asian cities in other circumstances, as well as lectures and workshops to guide the development of project ideas.
