A two-member CIDA delegation revealed this on Thursday while exchanging views with Rajshahi city corporation mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton at a restaurant on the closing day of the delegation’s two-day feasibility study.

During the meeting, the team appraised the city of its survey strategy and the probable aspects.

Earlier, the team visited various locations and infrastructural sites such as drainage, amusement park, graveyards and cremation sites, service-providing installations of the city corporation to study feasibility on multipurpose issues.

The delegation informed the mayor the survey would cover most of the vital sectors such as water supply, street lighting, street and environment development, pond and water-body renovation, waste management, and low-cost housing facility for the poor.

CDIA social development specialist Mats Zernhammer and land management specialist John Woolph Vinterhave were present among the delegation members.

On the occasion, RCC superintending engineer Ashraful Haque also gave an overview of the city’s administrative structure along with the infrastructural development and civic services financed by the city corporation.
