Austria and Shanghai Municipal Government join CDIA as funding members

CDIA is proud to announce that the Government of Austria and the Shanghai Municipal Government have joined the governments of Germany and Sweden as well as the Asian Development Bank in financing CDIA activities in the region. The two new members were officially welcomed as they participated in the recent Program Review Committee meeting in April of this year in Essen, Germany. This will lead to further expansion of CDIA activities and to more supported cities.

The Federal Ministry of Finance, Austria committed US$ 2 million for CDIA support to be channeled through the ADB.

China is now represented in the PRC through the Shanghai Municipal Government and has committed contribution of US$ 2 million for an initial period of two years that is also linked to the establishment of a CDIA nodal office in the premises of the Shanghai International Center for Infrastructure Finance Inc. (SICIF Inc).
