The 4th Annual GIB Summit to be held in May: Are you ready for the challenge?
March 16, 2014
The 4th annual Global Infrastructure Basel (GIB) Summit will be held in Basel, Switzerland, 21-22 May 2014. GIB is the leading platform for Sustainable Infrastructure Financing, and it has had good progress since last year in the introduction of Sustainable Infrastructure as a new asset class. Accordingly, this year’s topic is “Mainstreaming Sustainability in Infrastructure Financing and Investment.”
The Summit will bring together investors, developers, policy makers and solution providers to help meet the challenge. Partners of CDIA will receive a discount of 30% on their GIB Summit 2014 attendance fees.
High level speakers such as mayors, ministers, senior asset allocators, solution provider specialists, and others will tackle issues like: Connecting Global Policy with Sustainable Infrastructure, Closing the Gap in Early Stage Investments, Creditworthiness of Cities: Reallocating Risks, and Enabling Investments by bundling sustainable infrastructure (SI) projects. Additionally, there will be real investment opportunities during the Investment Forums where SI projects in need of financing are presented.
