CDIA and SMI sign MOU for capacity development

Last month in Jakarta, Indonesia, CDIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero/SMI), an agency of the government of Indonesia, responsible for accelerating infrastructure development.

CDIA and SMI will together develop the capacity of stakeholders, especially city governments, to understand the different alternative schemes and processes in the provision of city infrastructure; and jointly review capacity development needs and approaches that will enhance the technical knowledge and potential of Indonesian cities in managing infrastructure development leading to investment, and consequently, local economic growth.
