Linking Cities’ Infrastructure Investment Projects To Finance: Call For Application Deadline Extended To October 2

Share to:

Linking to the 6th Asia Pacific Urban Forum, this one day training event provides an opportunity for learning, discussing, and exchanging ideas on how to link urban infrastructure investments to finance. As local and regional governments are now being entrusted with leading their cities towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Post 2015 Development Agenda Towards Habitat III, it is highly relevant to provide them with a better understanding of financing mechanisms. With this in mind, the Cities Development Initiative for Asia (CDIA), PT Sarana Multi Infastruktur (SMI), and UCLG-ASPAC organized this training course, 22 October 2015, as a forum for city representatives to learn about financing modalities and infrastructure funding sources, engage in interactive sessions, and exchange ideas through case studies.

TRAINING COURSE MODULES:
1. Introduction To The Linking to Finance Lingo: Know How to Talk About Financing
2. Exercise on Financing Map: Know Who To Talk To
3. Interactive Case Study Exercise: An Exercise in Investment Finance

CDIA, PT SMI, and UCLG-ASPAC invite interested city representatives to participate. Please fill out and submit the attached application form by Sunday, 2 October 2015. A limited number of travel cost subsidies are available. Participants of APUF-6 will be given priority in consideration.
