CDIA’s New Intern For Inclusive Urban Development

CDIA formally welcomes its new intern, Ms. Beverly Lumbera. Last month, Beverly supported the Regional Multi-stakeholder Symposium on Inclusive Cities in Asia in Delhi, and is now working on the development of knowledge materials with regard to the New Urban Agenda. She will soon be engaged in developing training modules for an Inclusive Cities training for CDIA partner cities and organizations.
This year, Beverly will complete her law degree at San Beda College Manila. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines. Her field of interests include urban planning, urban development, poverty alleviation and public policy. Before joining CDIA, she has worked for and with the Philippine government as a research specialist for the national policy think tank, and as a consultant for the development of various land use plans.
