CDIA And PPPC Align Interventions To Better Serve Philippine Cities

CDIA and its national partner organization (NPO) in the Philippines, the Public Private Partnership Center (PPPC), brought together their key managers to better align their service offerings to cities.

In a whole-day workshop held at ADB on June 9, 2016, the partners agreed to work together on three (3) areas: project preparation, capacity development, and knowledge management. The workshop provided not only the platform to deliberate on the common cooperation goals, but to also outline key activities for implementation in 2016 and beyond.

PPPC’s Executive Director, Mr. Andre C. Palacios, and CDIA Program Coordinator Claudia Hermes who were both present at the workshop furthermore ratified the need for internal capacity and institutional strengthening on PPP themes for both organizations.

Spurred by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both parties last March 2016 in Hanoi, CDIA and PPPC are committed to build upon their existing tools and processes to contribute to successful PPP projects that are initiated and managed by local government units.
