Invitation to Apply for Temasek Foundation Leaders in Urban Governance Programme

Centre for Liveable Cities and the Temasek Foundation of Singapore would like to invite Mayors and city leaders, as well as top office holders of Asian cities to apply for the Temasek Foundation Leaders in Urban Governance Programme (TFLUGP) to be held in Singapore from 7-11 November 2016.
The TFLUGP is an annual Mayoral and senior executive level training programme that brings together city leaders and urban practitioners interested in developing high-density yet economically competitive, livable and sustainable cities.
Topics such as urban governance, integrated masterplanning and development, land management, urban water management, sustainable environment, and financing a city are among those that will be discussed in the programme.
Delivered through exclusive dialogue sessions with Singapore’s past and present leaders, participants will likewise get insights into the city’s development strategies and how it overcame its urban challenges.
A key highlight is an expert-mentored-action plan workshop session wherein participants may discuss their priority urban challenge with Singapore’s experts and develop a one-year implementation strategy roadmap.
