CDIA Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
November 1, 2017
On November 20-23, 2017, CDIA will be holding its 10th anniversary celebration in honor of this important milestone.
From a simple idea borne out of an international conference organized by the German Government and the Asian Development Bank in 2007, CDIA has become a key player in urban project preparation in Asia and the Pacific. The commemoration will be an opportune time not only to look back at what CDIA and its partners have accomplished, but also to look forward to more decades of fruitful collaboration with cities, funding agencies, and other partner organizations.
The celebration will start on November 20 with the conduct of Good Practice Laboratory Seminar in Naga City, Philippines in association with Connective Cities and the Municipality of Naga. Representatives from 12 cities in Asia are expected to join the seminar, which will focus on good practices, and elaboration of public-private partnership (PPP) models for infrastructure project development. It will include site visits, presentations, and workshop sessions.
The main anniversary event will be held in the afternoon of November 23 at the Multi-Function Hall of the Asian Development Bank Headquarters in Manila, where some of our partners are expected to join us for this special occasion. A highlight of the event will be the launching of CDIA’s 2018-2022 Strategy, and the ADB-hosted Trust Fund. Interactive panel discussions, video showing and project exhibit, highlights of CDIA’s 10 years, cocktails and other activities will add spice to the event.
We would like to celebrate this success with institutions and individuals who have made this feat possible. Thus, if you are in Manila on the 23rd of November, you are most welcome to join us at 3:30 pm in our celebration! For RSVP, contact Rio Baxa through firstname.lastname@example.org.
