All the news from around CDIA
City governments must face the colossal task of providing infrastructure and services for their growing population. How to prepare infrastructure projects? How to make them attractive to financiers? How to ensure they have climate co-benefits and contribute to ‘leaving no one behind’?
CDIA, together with members of Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA), a coalition working to mobilize investments in low-carbon and climate-resilient infrastructure will host an Urban Innovation Session on the 16th of October 2019 from 15:30-17:00 at Room #9.
In this session, they will share opportunities, innovative experiences and tools in developing and financing climate adaptation infrastructure investments in the Asia-Pacific.
City leaders and development partners are invited to exchange with us on how to improve the quality of infrastructure projects by looking at funding, sustainability and resilience standards, capacities, and cooperation among players to make the necessary urban investments possible.
