CDIA Connects with ADB Community at Funds Fiesta

Share to:

On 12 March, CDIA joined 32 other ADB-managed funds and partnership facilities at the Funds Fiesta, held at the ADB Auditorium. Organized by the Partner Funds Division, the event served as a one-stop marketplace for discovering how trust funds can strengthen and support ADB projects.

Representing the Urban Financing Partnership Facility and alongside the Urban Resilience Trust Fund, CDIA actively engaged with project officers from various departments, including Energy, Health, Digital, Financial, and the Office of Markets Development and Public-Private Partnerships. Leading the team were Senior Urban Development Officer Aldrin Plaza and CDIA Fund Manager Edkarl Galing, who guided discussions on how CDIA’s support can be leveraged to advance project preparation and advisory work in ADB’s urban initiatives.

CDIA showcased the type of project preparation support it provides, the application mechanisms, and opportunities for collaboration with external project preparation facilities, proactively exploring strategic alignment of the current urban development pipeline of projects with donors’ emerging thematic priorities and geographic focus.

By participating in the Funds Fiesta, CDIA reinforced its role as a trusted partner in shaping sustainable urban development projects, while also opening doors for new collaborations beyond its own resources.
