The new CDIA strategy for 2023-27 sets out how the program will align itself with the new global agenda for resilient and sustainable development, with a view to tapping into the emerging “plumbing” for combined public and private capital mobilization, and without losing sight of the important gaps in the provision of basic urban services that will require continued public investment attention.

This report details the interaction among stakeholders to advance affordable and resilient housing in Bhutan. At the clinic, participants from five cities were able to learn some of the innovative approaches and strategies on the topic, and the key considerations for integrating climate resilience and institutional development into the project preparation process. CDIA led structured consultations to uncover key issues and sector priorities, in preparation for the start of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Green and Resilient Affordable Housing Sector Project (GRAHSP).
